  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i searched the classifieds and didn't see any there, so i thought i would post here.
getting ready to trade in my '15 AWD Sedan and i have Ark springs on it. my factory springs were stolen out of my garage a year or so ago (with a few other parts). I am wondering if anyone has factory springs laying around they don't want.
please let me know. Thanks!

Hah! I traded in my '15 5.0 with Ark springs on, they didn't care. So I have the original springs with ~7k miles on it, sitting in my garage.

I wonder if the 5.0 springs and AWD springs are any different? I am concerned trading it in and it not being able to be aligned perfectly and if they will have an issue with that. If there is no difference in springs, I would be interested in yours.

I checked, the parts number are different between 3.8 and 5.0, but it doesn't mean it wouldn't fit in. Let them worry about it when you trade your car in, they probably won't even notice that.

Nice! Trade in a car with the wrong parts and then someone else buys it and has issues, maybe even safety issues. Good advice.

No, I meant leave the ARK springs on and trade the car in, not with wrong springs, lol

I dont think there would be an issue with trading it in with the ARK springs.

My dealer knew because I told him so and he said it looks even better than sitting on original springs, so he wasn't interested in bringing car back to stock. As a matter of fact, it does look better, I'm talking about GT-F springs, not GT-S.

yeah i have the GT-F's on mine. it didn't lower it that much, but enough that the alignment is off a tidge. I will be in Chicago area next weekend (my son is playing hockey there) and will be in Buffalo Grove. I will send a PM to you shortly.
