Has anyone been able to get there Lexicon to play with more volume? Maybe a way to turn up the "gain" on the amplifier?
At 75% volume- I can hear the music with all windows up 4 houses away.
Of course if you are a degenerate that I can hear the bass cranked to the point of low frequency tremors and the rattling of the car shaking itself to pieces a block away- your deafness may require more decibels.
What are you talking about? The bass on this car couldn't rattle its own license plate. If you don't have anything constructive or helpful to say, on topic, there are plenty of hate sites waiting for your posts today. Be gone idiot.
I think he was trying to point out that the system gets pretty loud, and that if you need to turn the speakers up there may be something wrong with your system (or your ears). He didn't state the bass was loud either, he's saying if you're the type who plays their bass so you can hear it blocks away, then you might require it to be louder. It is documented the bass could use some help, see the Anemic Bass thread for the discussion, and what people have done for aftermarket solutions.
Keep it civil.
As mentioned previously- Hitting the voice command on the wheel and stating "cancel" sometimes cancels the NAV pre-amp control on the audio system to proper music settings.
Your right in that I shouldn't let his type get me riled up. I see what you are saying although it is not at all in the snotty spirit he was stating. I never said anything about bass in my original post so he just came out of left field with that. Anyone who reads his post can see he was just being a jerk and not at all trying to be of any help("Of course if you are a degenerate", a degenerate? really?). ANYWAY...
I still need some ideas or experience of anyone who would appreciate more overall volume say like when you are cruising down the interstate at interstate speeds with the windows down and you just want to rock out![]()
I agree. Needs to be louder. Not a chance those speakers are blowing. (4.6 w/ tech)
Also, does anyone else feel like XM can sound like a low bit rate MP3 at times, or is that just me?
