I finally got all the paperwork on my new Genesis. Here in New Jersey that means a trip to the state inspection shop. We need to get cars inspected every 2 years and that fee is included in the registration.
The inspection center I went to is a large one in Wayne. They check the car out brakes, lights, exhaust etc. It was a cold day so I waited in a small heated room watching that my car was not mistreated. After all the checks were complete the inspector waves me over. He has a big grin on his face and complements me on the car. "I thought it was a German make" he says. Then goes on to complement me [my Genesis] saying he couldn't believe it is a Hyundai.
Well of course this whole episode has made me happy but when the guys in the car wash gushed over it. That was icing on the cake.
