Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I once, because I was busy, drove my company car for two weeks which was approximately 2000 miles on a donut. Lots of time 4 - 5 hundred miles without ever having a problem. Formerly knew a guy who had a 82 S10 P/U that he only used Donut tires on, got them from U-Pick-It. I know for sure he would get about 7500 miles out of them, get four more and away he went. Guy was old but he used his truck daily in his business and didn't ever have a spare, always said who needs a spare when they are riding on one.
Can't imagine hauling a full-size spare around in this day and age. Between durability of the supplied donuts and mutliple road service's you can contact I just can't see full size spare for any reason.
