  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Interested in buying a 2012/2013 3.8, things I should know about?

Who cares about all CAPS I KNOW I DON'T. Really . WOW

Please refrain from using all caps, no one likes to yelled at in person or online. Let's get back to the topic of discussion regarding the thread title and not CAPS Lock.

Thank You.

Did you make a decision on which year best suits your needs?

Has a choice been made yet? If not, best of success. I laud your brother's taste in fine autos, but I would be concerned that this is a lot of car for an 18 year old. I respectfully suggest going with the 2013 model, making sure that it is a certified model, qualifying for balance of 10 yr./100k powertrain warranty. Might want to look at a dealer offered extended warranty for the rest of the car. My dealer offered me a good deal with my 2010 model, on top of being certified. It paid for itself when the ventilated drivers seat failed.
