In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I was just wanting to get some feedback from members as to what interior colors that they prefer in the new Hyundai Genesis. It's always interesting to hear all the different opinions.

I had waiting a long time to get a sterling blue/cashmere 4.6 Genesis but ended up with the platinum gray/black 4.6. The exterior color looks great. The black I'm trying to feel better about. I have always been one to like a light colored interior in the past.

The Genesis black interior isn't to bad as there is contrast with the dark brown leather dash and door inserts along with the grayish head liner and of course some of the chrome parts.

I'm just interested in finding out what interior colors the majority of the people here on this forum prefers?

I have the cashmere interior with saddle accents, and I love it. I've read comments in this forum about keeping it looking nice, since the light colors tend to get grubby over time, but I'm using Griot's leather care products and it still looks great!

I, too always prefer light colored interiors. What I want is a Satin Pearl Ivory exterior with a cashmere colored interior, no other :rolleyes:options. What could be simpler: a white four door v8 car without options. Any idea who has one?

I prefer the darker interior colors. I am sure your Platinum with the black interior is stunning.
I am waiting on the White Satin Pearl with black interior (if Hyundai ever ships any to the Southeast).
As others have said, it is all a matter of personal preference.

Mine is black...w/saddle dash accent. Nice color combo w/Red Cabernet Pearl exterior. I like black interiors--they do tend to show a little dirt, but it provides a motivation to keep the interior clean. When it is clean, it's really beautiful. I'll be interested in seeing how it fades over time, but I've put on a good tint on the windows (Llumar ceramic tint 35%) to minimize that effect as much as possible.

I let the wife choose. She demanded the cashmere. I will admit that the cashmere with the white satin pearl exterior is a beautiful car.

I have a Silver/Black. I love the black interior. This is the first car I had with a black interior. I had a light tan in my BMW and it got dirty over time. The Genesis is probably the only car where the black works. With the right amount of saddle accents, it works very well.

In FL I found black leather and interior hotter than a lighter color so I got cashmere.

Golly gee Sgt. Carter.

Phoenix AZ Chapman Bell Road has a White Satin Pearl - V8 - black interior.

They just got it 12/8 - I drove it yesterday. About 37 miles on the car.

Ask for Christiaan B. Beavers - tell em I sent you. They ARE looking to deal. Tell em to forget the Paint package ($700) and something else (etching?) $300.

Don't know if I can put the phone number - easy enough to look up.

We waited for the cashmere interior and it is beautiful. I don't know how well it will hold up to use but it lightens the feel of the interior. The exterior is sapphire pearl blue so we wanted a lighter interior.

Hi just got my 3.8 platinum metallic with cashmere interior and love it . seats go great with rest of the interior . I looked at the black interior and did not like the way it matched the other stuff . But,in the end ,it's a personal decision. My sister has a sonata that is silver with a black interiore and loves it and by the way wonders why I did not get black in mine . Marty

Titanium Gray with black. I love the combo, and would not want a light interior color - I plan on keeping the car for a long while, and although the Cashmere interior is beautiful, I can't imagine that same beauty in 5 years of wear and tear.

The black is really a deep gray, and shows NOTHING that can't be cleaned easily. Just about the same color as my former 2002 XG, which looked new when I traded it in.

My first and only choice was Platinum with a Black interior. Love it. The contrast between the two is stunning, and to my eyes, the interior looks very rich. With the air conditioned driver's seat, what's not to like on a hot day, other than the evil eye I may get from my passenger? And depending on who the passenger is, that may work out just swell!

I wanted the Black exterior with the brown leather, but the closest one was far away, and would cost too much to ship to the dealer, so I chose a dealer trade from Duluth, MN to brooklyn Park, MN for the Black on Black Genesis.

I really like the black interior. The dealer wanted to sell me what they had on the lot of course and the only V8 was black with Cashmere.

I told them no offense, but I don't care for the interior color, but I'm sure my 60 year old mother would!

They just laughed and understood. :p

I have the platinum metallic with black interior. My dealer had to trade vehicles with another dealer 300 miles away to get it (both cars were trucked, not driven). They offered me $500 reduction in price is I took the Beige/Cashmere one on the lot, but I had that color for the last 11 years and wanted something different.

I had my windows tinted (except for front windshield) with ForumulaOne Pinnacle 50, which is a high-tech ceramic film that reflects a lot of solar energy compared to regular dyed tint films (it comes in darker shades also).

I don't think there is much difference in interior heat among the various colors, since the dash and rear deck on even the lighter interiors are actually fairly dark to eliminate reflections. I do think there is a big difference in the heat from the exterior color of the car, which is one reason why I like the platinum metallic exterior. If I lived in the snow belt, I would probably favor a darker exterior.

Just got my 4.6 tech with black exterior and black interior. This interior is the new one without the saddle inlays. It is black on black on black...and very sweet. The chrome surrounds on gauges and vents are highlighted nicely with the black dash inlays. Also headliner is light grey in color, preventing the cabin from being too dark and cavelike as some all black interiors can be.

i prefer the black interior but would really like to see a 4.6 with a wood dash. it is my understanding that the wood dash is only available with the the base model my opinion is that the wood grain is very good looking and looks richer than the leather dash. again...my personal opinion.
