  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a dye or stain to repair fingernail scratches on my 2012 Equus black armrests? I inquired at the local Hyundai dealer and they had no idea of what to use. Thanks in advance!

Go to any used car dealership. They will have someone that does interiors repair, and that should be able to help you out. DIY interior repair would be a marker, but a good tech should be able to repair and dye the damage.

Thanks...will keep looking for a independent detailer or auto dealership that does this. Several I've been at that farmed their work out said the detailers they used had moved or retired.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If you are near MD or a surrounding state, I have contacts (I did auto restoration for almost a decade). If not, good luck!!

I have used leather dye I purchased from Seat Doctors, website at following link:
Select car make, then model, interior color and size needed, the 4oz for $24.75 is plenty for covering up a lot of marks. I have had mine for over 2 years and it is still three quarters full. If you have any questions about the color or application you can email the company owner who is very helpful. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the Seat Doctors info. I sent them an email today!

Also, thanks to CaptnAwesome! Unfortunately, I'm not in MD.
