  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

While driving my 2016 Genesis to the dealer I noticed the A/C was blowing warm air. It was 83 outside and the A/C was set at 71. It even smelled like the heating coils were on. After 5 minutes all was normal. Arrived at the dealership, cut off the car and stepped out, the car's reminder alert sounds off. I look inside the car and on the dash it says the keys have left the car. First time that has happened with the car not running. Few weeks ago the navigation audible directions could not be turned up and also the radio volume. Now watch once it's out of warranty the computer will crap out and I will be facing a very expensive repair. I really miss the analog controls in older cars. Can of contact cleaner could fix a lot of problems!

Same type of problems I have faced with my 15 5.0. A/C blowing warm, then fine after a restart of A/C controls. And volume gets stuck randomly in NAV prompt mode and does not return to audio mode to control audio until after a ignition cycle.

Yeah, I'm having electronics gremlins as well. After two and a half months of ownership I'm thinking about dumping the car and going back to a Mercedes or Honda or maybe order a Model 3 or something like that. Too much headache - today it's in the shop again for a non functioning USB port. Their determination will guide my decision to stick with it or cut my losses. If they won't stand behind the electronics - and this car is basically one big computer - it's time to move on.

I don’t blame ya! That’s what worries me, everything tied to a CPU that apparently is already having intermittent problems. Imagine what the cost of replacing that would be.
