Hi:
I recently upgraded from the 2012 Genesis 3.8 V6 Tech to the 2015 Genesis 3.8 V6 with Touchscreen navi and premium packages. I have noticed that there is quality control issue with the user interface on the screen all-around.
For example:
1. If I initiate a bluetooth phone call while the sound system is off, often times, (9 out of 10 times) the call doesn't end up coming through the speakers of the car. If the sound system is on, tuned to the radio, it always comes through.
2. When adjusting the temperature control knob, there is at least a 1 or 2 second delay before seeing that adjustment on the screen.
3. The voice recognition feature is very laggy and slow - and rarely functions if the driver window or sunroof is open, even if there is not a lot of wind noise in the cabin.
4. The quality of the map and input of addresses is significantly improved over previous versions. Not just the updated map, but the method of inputting data is much better designed.
Please let me know if i'm only one with these issues. (To be sure, the same lag was present on the test vehicle i drove)... and, if there is talk of a firmware or software update possible to speed up the system.
Thanks for weighing in...
