Intermittent rear camera problem

Anyone ever have an intermittent rear camera problem?

Mine has decided not to work on 3 occasions in the past month. Never had a problem before..... and I know the dealer will be "unable to duplicate problem", so what do you guys suggest? I have 38K on the odometer.

42k on the clock and I get striations and lines and then a complete black out (or white out) of my camera every so often. I cant replicate it if I try, it kinda just pops up and then goes away.

I think the camera has realized when I am trying to squeeze into a tight space, cuz right then it goes wonky.

I just had my intermittent rear camera replaced under warranty. Black screen/colored lines. Take a camera phone picture when it fails and show the dealer service advisor. They might have gotten a bad production batch.

GREAT idea...... I'm old and sometimes forget about the technology available to me........ even tho I retired as an IT professional..... I know, crazy, right?

Dealer replaced mine (had the intermittent problem) without any hassle.

(I had a camera phone video just in case)

put me down for the same problem and it seems to be getting worse. Also put me down for the trunk light on but the trunk is closed

I waited for occurance, usually first drive in am, took picture with Iphone , went to dealer with picture...viola .....new back up camera!!

How many miles?

Isn't the warranty on the camera (et al) 36K miles?
