  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

An annoying phenomena starting happening after my upgrade to iOS5. Basically, after hooking up the phone to the system. If I switch to rhapsody or Pandora, I get a lost signal error on the nav screen. I then have to unplug then replug the device to get the system to even recognize it is connected. Also, if I am playing an album, artist or playlist on rhapsody I get the same error when it comes to the end of that album, artist or playlist. I also get the error switching between iPod, Rhapsody or Pandora apps,

Anyone else experience this?

Updating today, will let you know.

I just tried hooking the new iPhone 4S and absolutely nothing happens when I plug it into the cable (no message and no connection) So, I think it must have something to do with the new software. The blue tooth works fine but as far as playing Pandora or music on the phone's iPod that just won't happen.

Iphone4, IOS5:

iPod worked just fine, Pandora played just fine too.
And the best part? No more "incompatibility" nag!

Haven't had a phone call, so can't confirm that caller ID has been fixed.

Btw, same Tech as in the Genesis.

I solved the problem; It was an iPhone software issue. I heard there were issues with other apps related to iOS5 that were resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Doing this with Rhapsody and Pandora solved my problem.

Being using MOG on my iPhone 4S and playing it through my cable. The quality is much higher than iTunes or XM and it sounds great when the surround function is enabled on the Genesis.

Haven't gotten Siri to work through Genny when connected via cable. Also the factory cable is too short to effectively use any of the controls on the iPhone.
