Is a G70 3.3t faster than a $100k Maserati Quattroporte?

With more horsepower and 500 less pounds would a G70 beat a $100k Maserati Quattroporte despite having a Hyundai built transmission?

Someone parked one near my G70 and I was looking that car is twice the price and doesn’t look as good. Wonder if it’s even faster?

Yeah, the G70 is a bit quicker. Not sure what the comment about the Hyundai built transmission means but it's a very good transmission.

my italian bro-in-law was dead set on buying a QP (or maybe it was the Ghibli, whatever) after the Alfa dealer burned him on a potential Giulia deal. he had driven a few of each, and was about to pull the trigger against my advice. then he drove a Stinger GT. after 6 months, he has no regrets going with the Stinger.

Sorry, he doesn't have a QP. He has the GranTurismo. It does sound good. Just doesn't stand a chance.
