Is anyone elses' Genesis App not working?

My Genesis app (on iPhone) hasn't been able to connect for 4 days. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Check to see that you have the latest version. There was an update a few days ago.

Yes, mine was as well. Not sure what the issue was but assume the last update skewed something. I deleted and reloaded and works perfectly. Except the service history tool uploads are gone. They should have that in the cloud in the event of a buggy app. 🤦🏼‍♂️
 
My app was not working for the past week or so. Kept getting the window "Unable to locate server..etc"
Deleted it and reinstalled the app. Seems to work fine now.

Likewise, deleting and reinstalled did the trick. I didn’t think about just clearing the cache but that might have worked also.
 
Wow good advise. Delete / Re-add worked great.

Kind of sad though.... I just can’t come to terms with this app and the poor functionality. Sadface.

Sadface, what functionality are you having problems with?
 
No sustained log in, and every other common issue already noted from other members about delay time and service reliability issues.

You should stay logged in for days if not weeks. Have you checked that box on the log in screen? Are you using Apple or android?

While I think the delay time varies with your connection speed both app to the internet and also back to the car, I think others have said they are in line with other car apps. Can’t help you with reliability issues, that’s a little vague for me.
 
The systems been down for awhile. I've never seen Bluelink go down for more then a day or two since it went active. They must be doing something, or screwed something up. It's been down almost a week now.

As a potential g70 owner coming from a flawed BMW phone app system, I'm not too excited about how this sounds... =/

I'm currently chalking it up to growing pains, they're trying to add more features. The app in itself has far surpassed what i've seen with almost every other manufacturer other then Mercedez. The bluelink (Hyundai version) of the app works almost flawlessly. So fingers crossed

You are wrong. The system is not down nor has it been down for the week. Although it might be broken on your side. Delete your app and reinstall. It was updated. Lots of folks have been using it including me every day for the past week.

Very odd, I assumed it was everybody with the recent reviews on the app store. I've tried again and still have the same issue. I'll try a few other things.

It was down tonight about 6 PM eastern time. Message said it was down for maintenance. Who would schedule maintenance at that time of day? Worked just now though.

Just used it this afternoon to start my car. It’s about 90 here. By the time I finished checking out and arrived at my car (short walk) it was running and cool. So what do you think you could be doing wrong?

You mean it worked just now at the location you are now at.
