  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is it just me or this R spec looks unusually wide? (I Just bought this one)

It looks like the pic the op posted may be a little skewed.

OP's car has custom fender flares.

The steel body on the factory OEM 5.0 R-spec is no different than the 4.6 or 3.8. The R-spec has 19" wheels (vs. 18" on the 4.6) to accommodate the slightly larger front calipers, and the suspension is 1/4"-1/2" lower and stiffer from the factory.

Right? I'm trying to figure out why, I looked for modifications and everything seems stock.
If the car has modified fenders then the rear doors would also have been modified.

So I just got the car... What do you guys think?
Where did you buy it from? I follow a shop on Instagram from Northern California that put fender flares on a silver RSPEC. I saved the pic back in 2016 cause I wanted flared fenders lol
