  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am shopping around between 2011 and 2012 genesis. Got a quote of a 2011 V6 fully loaded, MSRP is $41,899, and the final price is $35,000 (including destination fee) plus tax, title and processing fee. Is this a good price?

Thanks for any comments,

James

Sounds pretty good to me. I bought my 2010 (premium/nav, no Tech) in February 2010 and paid $34,500 incl tax/tags.

My 2011 V6 MSRP was $41,995.00. Paid $37,000 out the door.
Yes that is a good price but the way things are looking around here you can get a 2012 for close to that.
There are apparently good reasons to go with the 2012 and some questionable ones. So look over all the posts that pertain and then make your decision. Either way it’s a beautiful car and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Thank you both for the reply. I ended up with a 2012 V6 base model. I paid $31652 out of door, which include 500 Motozuma and 1500 copetitor discounts. I think the price is 30k plus ttl. Pretty happy.
