Is there a Genesis emblem option for the trunk on a '22 G70 3.3T SP?

Hey guys, just wondering if some of you have removed the ugly letters on the trunk, and put a proper emblem on it. I'd immediately remove all letters, including the 'G70' and '3.3T', but it'd look really weird with no emblem. Hopefully there's an option that fits like OEM. If it has studs, they could be broken, I'd guess. Any links, or specific info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I ordered it as well as the G70 and Genesis badges in black. I’ll update with a pic once I get them in and then once they are on the car.

I couldn't handle the large G E N E S I S lettering on my '22 so I pulled them off and put the Gen 1 chrome wing trunk badge on in its place. Much cleaner look, IMO.

I do like the black chrome emblems on the white car though.

That's the route I want to go, since I don't want to mess with all other freaking emblems. Ha ha. May I ask where did you buy the OEM emblem? And it fit perfectly, meaning trunk has the same shape as 2021, correct? And did you try to mimick the exact location on a 2021, or put it in a slightly different height, for instance? Finally, no issues after removing the letters, like a shadow, even after polishing? Sometimes the adhesive is nasty. Thank you.

I bought the OEM '21 wing emblem from the forum sponsor KDM Warehouse. It was $30 plus shipping. It is made of ABS plastic and it has 2 small pins on the back that will need to be removed (I used a dremel) but it does come with 3m sticky tape. Just peel and stick.

I placed it roughly where the G E N E S I S letters were. Used some blue painters tape and laid it out carefully so that it was centered and level.

I removed the G70 and the 3.3T emblems as well. Since my car is only 2 months old, all the letters/emblems came off very easily with some dental floss (use a sawing action). The tape residue came off with my fingernails. I used 99% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean up.

Here is a pic after I put the wing emblem on but before I took of the G70 and 3.3T emblems.

Haven't taken a pic yet with just the wing emblem - will see if I can get one in the next day or so.

Hey, thank you very much for that great help. Was wondering where to order it, and now I know where. Checked the 2021, but it's a different trunk, with the plate where the wing is now, so it has to go where you put it. However, I'll install it higher than yours, but will have to play with location first. Probably like an inch higher. The camera looks a big unsightly, but it is what it is. That'd have been a great location for the wing. Ha ha.

Hey, is your car Alta or Uyuni white? And are you happy with it? I wanted Uyuni, since I thought it'd be a better paint job, but on the other hand, it could be a weird tone, like bluish or greenish white, so with Alta white, you can't go wrong. Ha ha. Everything else is what I wanted (white 3.3T SP with sandstone interior), so not a big deal. Just hope the clearcoat is the same, so it doesn't chip any easier. We'll see, I guess. The other negative is my car is coming with a $400 lighted door sill package, which will be money down the drain for me, but at least I didn't pay extra for paint, or any tacked-on charges. I was given an ETA of 5/17, so some time next week for sure. Thank you again for your great help.

Thank you for this. I just got G70 the other week and I've been thinking of removing GENESIS as well. I wish they would have kept the logo.

The backup camera and its interior display screen is the best I have ever had - and I have had a lot of cars. Genesis could hide it better if they put it inside the emblem for instance but it may not provide the view - don't know.

Mine is the Uyuni white with silver/gray interior. Happy with it so far. It is a metallic white and it is white - white. I really wanted a silver one but couldn't find one anywhere and didn't want to wait. Found this one used with only 2K miles on it and got a pretty good discount off a new one.

Thank you for that reply. Being that white, I'd definitely have liked that better, since it's metallic (or pearl), and probably with better clearcoat, but it is what it is. I also wanted silver, since it'd look incredible with that interior, but white was my 2nd option. Well, Alta white my THIRD, but at least I'm getting the gray interior, so can't complain too much. If I didn't get this one, it'd had been months of wait, so not an option. The only advantage of a plain white is it's easier to touch-up, and easier to match (if needed). Will give my impression of it when I get it. So how many grand did you save over MSRP? At least I got mine at MSRP, and not 3 to 5 grand over, like ALL other dealers 700 miles around mine are asking.

Thank you. I think I'm going to put it right below the horizontal crease line below the camera. Looking at the rear, it looks kind of plain. Taillights should have extended into the trunk a few inches IMO. But it's not bad looking.
