  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I did a search and could not find one for the 4.6. Any help much appreciated. Parts list would be a plus. Thanks

I believe your car has the ZF like my 2011. I got my fluid from fcpeuro. This same tranny is in Jags and BMWs. Having a lift helps a bunch and its sealed so having a huge syringe or transfer pump is necessary.

Lifetime Transmission Fluid ZF 6 Speed - My plan

I think the 2012 has the 8 speed made by Hyundai. You may need to check your vin with the dealer to find which transmission you have. 2012 was when the 4.6 transmission changed from the ZF to the Hyundai 8 speed.

Mine definitely has the 8-speed. I went thru all the gears in manual mode.

Cool. There are ongoing debates here about whether to full flush or drain and fill. Hyundai calls it lifetime and some dealers won't even do a complete flush and fill. I did the drain and fill on mine but I've had the car since 20k miles so I know the life the transmission has lived.
