The driver can change LKAS to Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) orI like the steering wheel vibration on the lane departure, but I don’t like the lane keep assist. It doesn’t corner on curves the way I drive. I’m struggling to find the settings to disable the LKA but keep the lane departure on.
Is there a way to have the steering wheel and visual notification only? My wife gets nervous in the car and the audio notification is so loud. It makes her jump and scream and then I can’t concentrate on driving. The driver can change LKAS to Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) or
the LKAS mode between Standard LKA and Active LKA from the User
Settings Mode on the LCD display.
Lane Departure Warning
LDWS alerts the driver with a visual
and acoustic warning when the system
detects the vehicle leaving the
lane. In this mode, the steering wheel
will not be controlled. When the vehicle’s
front wheel contacts the inside
edge of lane line, LKAS issues the
lane departure warning.
