Is this a too good to pass deal?

I am in a bind. I have been looking for a fully loaded 2012-13 titanium saddle combo. I was trying to hold out until around April to make a purchase. Today I came across this car.

Looks like it's the premium package with the 14 speaker lexicon. question is is this a steal or a deal that can be passed on? This is a 3 hour drive one way if I do go with it.

You've got a tough decision. Titanium/saddle is a terrific color combination. I wouldn't evaluate a deal without knowing a price but the Titanium/saddle combo is rare. If you want that color I say go for it.

Price is 22500. With tax tags fees looking at close to 25k out the door

I'd say it's a pretty good deal, not great, but good.
Price is pretty low for the amount of miles that are on it.
It's not fully loaded, it's half loaded by the way.

Judging by the deck spoiler and genesis wing badges the previous owner was an enthusiasts so he either babied the car or drove the hell out of it. Obviously check the carfax, I see a mighty large scuff on the bumper which isn't an issue as long as there isn't a bunch of them around the vehicle.

If you check out the car, everything is good, and you buy it, make sure you get the Hyundai Premium Protection Plan, it covers the expensive to replace electronic wizardry, especially if it's not a CPO. You'll regret it if you don't, the Lexicon head units have proven themselves to be a bit unreliable.

That saddle interior is to die for. I would have loved to get that but nearest one for sale was over 300 miles away :/

Bill thank you for this. This is exactly what i needed to see. It looks like i am actually searching for a 2013 with the tech package. It has everything i had in my maxima plus more.

It was an untitled demo that had a few thousand miles on it, and had been sitting on the dealers lot for a year. I got it for $13,000 off MSRP. Because of all the Tech equipment, I paid for an extended warranty that covers EVERYTHING with no deductible, for 100,000 miles. Normally, I don't buy extended warranties, but after I discovered that items like the Navigation/Radio screen costs a few thousand to replace, and the factory warranty only covers it for 30,000 miles, I decided that it was worth it.
For a non-CPO car, an extended warranty is a must.

Definitely, the extended warranty is a must. I will have to be patient to find the 2013 titanium/saddle combo with the tech package

I recommend you check out the build date on the frame inside the driver's side door and make sure it was after May of 2012. The earlier 5.0 2012 engines had oil consumption problems which were corrected with engines built in May or later.

I think it was piston ring problems, but some of the earlier 5.0 have had engine replacements.

This one is a 3.8 I am not a fan of the 5.0. I like the 4.6

Trying to be patient but this dealer just dropped yet price on a CPO 2012 4.6 20k miles one owner. They were asking 27k now they are at 24.5k. Platinum and black. very tempting

Sounds like a pretty reasonable deal to me. Just joined the club, bought a debadged White/Beige non CPO 2012 4.6 with 43K miles on it for $20,500 (before fees). Take the time to find the car you want, I decided I had to have a tech package car, and havent been disappointed.

Being a former brand guy having only driven Acura, BMW, and MBZ for the past 20 years, I can honestly say the 2012 Hyundai Genesis offers up everything I am looking for in a luxury car. The V8 has plenty of power, and all there are more tech gadgets than I actually use.

I've had the car for 2 weeks now and havent had any problems. Took some additional risk buying a non warranty car with this much tech, so am considering an extended warranty through my bank, USAA is offering 3/36 bumper to bumper for $1100.

Still smiling and finding reasons to take the car out for a spin!

Yeah i have been on the hunt for about 5 months. I am really looking for a 2013 but this is a very good price for a low mileage 4.6. Only concern i have is that this has been on the dealers lot since July. 4 months and no sale is strange to me
