  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have the heads up display adjusted as high as it will go. Even now, unless I crane my neck up and peer over the dash, I can't see it. Sitting normally in the seat it is below my field of vision. I am not a short guy, 5' 11". I have had other cars with HUD and never had a problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

You aren't using polarized sunglasses are you?

No. I can see the display fine if I lean up. It's just so low on the windshield that it's out of my field of vision.

Same. I’m 6’0” and I have to sit tall to see the HUD. Yes, I have adjusted the height as high as it will go.

Same here. I’m also 6ft, keep the seat back pretty far and somewhat low in seat height. I’m barley seeing the full HUD and it’s adjusted all the up. Wonder since the average Korean height is much less than 6ft maybe Genesis does not provide enough height adjustment for its no issue for them, only those tall folks. Would be nice to know if the HUD display as attached to the dash has any movement with the screws or not so some adjustment could be done at the dash maybe?

Seems to me it would be more of an issue for short folks.

Short folks are going to have the seat moved forward and probably up in height so they look at the HUD at a different angle vs tall is further back and lower on the seat bottom. Could be an interesting test though. I’m the only one who drives my G70 for the wife is afraid to drive any of my cars.

I'm 5'10" and I had to lower the HUD display from its highest position. It sounds to me like the projector angle needs alignment. There are probably videos on YouTube on how to do it.

I am 5'7" (used to be 5'87" but I done shrunk). I can see the HUD clearly.
