I thought I had a serious transmission problem on my 2015, 3.8--hard shifting, severe down shifting, etc. And, lots of codes in the "check engine bank". I took it to my nearest, dealer and they checked and checked and checked and could see and feel the problem, but couldn't find a solution. Finally, after more than a month, they were able to contact corporate service for help. Then, after another couple of week, they got a response that it was all being caused by a bad fuel pump module! Who would have ever "thunk" it!
They ordered, (another two weeks passed) then installed the module---and the car performed better than ever.

I thought some on this forum might experience the same problem and this might help (since local dealers are/were unaware.)

I had this exact issue for a month. I had a constant PSB light with the car completely cutting power all the time and then I changed the fuel pump module and its amazing. I'm glad you figured it out.

Yep. Right at $400 for a module about the size of a pack of cigs and one hour install.

Just for anyone else that has had this problem - there is a module listed for the 2015 that ended in the part number 1000 which has been superceded to one that ends in a 2000. The 1000 number one the dealer wanted over $500 for - I mentioned the one that ends in 2000 and he confirmed it would work. It listed for 250 something and I purchased it for 181 and change as I had seen it online for that and they matched the price. Put it in myself in about a half an hour and it has cleared up the PSB light and power loss for about a week now.

Steve, codes for misfires, camshaft position sensors, timing over-advanced, injector circuits, knock sensors, coils, etc, etc, etc???

Just adding one more experience.
2016 3.8: I had intermittent "Check PSB" and intermittent Check Engine light.
Never any lost performance.
Bought a 33041-D2000 on ebay, new in Hyundai retail packaging, from carfediem, totalled $103.68 delivered.
