  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm a brand new Genesis Owner. :D Thank you to everyone on this board that contributes, the information here is invaluable.

I'll be picking up my New 3.8L V6 Titanium Metallic w/ Tech Pkg tomorrow. Due to the holiday the service department was closed and the dealer informed me that they need a Service Tech to checkout the car and perform the necessary updates to the vehicle. :)

I believe I got a great deal - $36,575 plus TTL. In NJ that's a deal....LOL

:welcome: cviz! Congrats on your new Genesis!

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!! Have fun and enjoy your new Geny!!

CONGRATS! :grouphug:

So many football games, so little time to drive the new Genny. :D

Thanks all. I picked up my Genny today. It had 16 miles on the odometer when I left the dealer, by the end of the day I had 140 miles on it. I'm loving it. Even my wife is impressed. With the XM radio and the comfortable seats, she said it's like driving around in our living room. She said the ride was very relaxing.

Yes, the ride is stiff and feels like a sport-tuned suspension, but it's not anything that would have deterred me from purchasing a Genesis again.

If you are looking for a Cadillac or Lincoln Town Car type of ride you will be deeply disappointed. It's definitely not a floaty ride.

What I also found amazing is that the Hyundai Dealership was packed today with people looking to purchase cars. There was one lady looking at the Genesis and said to my wife this is a beautiful car. My wife told her we just bought one and were picking it up today. Another lady in the dealership came up to me while I was waiting for our salesman and asked if that was my Genesis outside. I proudly said, Yes and she commented that it was a beautiful car. We had about two or three heads turning to check-out our new ride as the salesman was going over the vehicle.

There were rumors floating around the dealership that Hyundai is planning to do a price increase on the Genesis in next few months. I'm not sure how true that is; but I definitely believe there will be no rebates or incentives on the Genesis in the months to come. My dealer sold 14 Genny's in December, so they are starting to move off of the lots quicker. I believe this is due to the positive press the Genesis is getting. Also, Hyundai is planning a big advertising campaign this year starting with the Super Bowl. So we may start see more of these great cars on the road very soon.
