  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm really loving my new GV70 but i get the distinct feeling that there is a corporate culture at Genesis and attitude towards their customers that is troubling. My views about any measure of corporate responsiveness is that most any can do the big things... it's the small things that really tell you what's going on.

I just got my "welcome" email from Genesis Finance with a link to create my account. "Not Found. Error 404"

So, it turns their bad link was simply missing "www" and it worked fine. My assumptions are:

1. I can't be the first customer to encounter this.
2. Someone at Genesis Financial must have gotten wind of this problem.
3. No-one has done anything to fix it.

This took me all of 30 seconds to get to the correct page but this lack of attention to detail still spells "KIA service" and not "Genesis Service".

Here's hoping there are growing pains issues they still need to work out aand in the future they'll get to the right level.

This won't put you at ease, and it's a troubling trend, but I think that is just the way the world is now.

As an example my job required certification for a new skill set. I had to complete 40 hours of online training. During the training I had to download some supporting documents which were not available online and I received the same 404 error. I emailed the online training resource and they took 2 days to respond to tell me they would look into the issue. 3 more days and they said they would escalate. 2 more days and I received the templates from a random guy on a forum who did the training the month before. Long story short it took one week to get the required resources, not even from the training company, and they entire time the training company "help desk" was worthless.

I'm also big in the Audio/Video hobby. Some people who have purchased $5000-$6000 processors had issues the online warranty form for one company doesn't work. You have to call a phone number to submit a warranty claim but the website suggests your online claim may have been received.

Far too many examples of businesses losing faith from their customers.
