First I can tell you I am not one to typically praise a dealer. However, I have to say the buying experience at Jim Hudson was about as good as buying a car can be. I dealt exclusively with the internet dealers (as any one who does their homework knows to do). By the time I got to the dealer I had already negotiated the price of the car, it was now only a negotiation for the trade (Nissan Titan). My wife wanted to use the excuse to test drive a bunch of cars so we started early, drove Honda’s, Toyotas, Nissans..you get the idea. Finally after having my intelligence insulted at the Toyota dealer (I took my ipad with me so I could look up Edmunds true market value at the dealers and they tried to tell me that their car really is worth $5,000 more than TMV) I went to Jim Hudson. Ahh, no more BS. We test drove the Sonata, Azera, Veracruz (a very nice vehicle), and then finally MY Genesis. I wanted to save the Genesis for last so I can compare all other vehicles I drove. Genesis is so much better. So here is the catch, by the time I got around to buying the Genesis it was close to closing time at Jim Hudson. No big deal, the salesman and finance manager was very patient. We did the typical 60 minute negotiation over the trade-in for the truck and 2 hours after closing I was driving off the lot with my new Genesis. I got the car at an awesome price and with gas being as high as it is, I feel I got a fair price for my truck. It is almost time for my first oil change so I hope my high opinion of Jim Hudson does not change but at least the buying experience was awesome.
