  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok, so i've had the car for almost 3 weeks now i'm guessing and already the mail scam has caught up to me lol.. Anyone else getting mail that your factory warranty is about to expire? I've gotten two pieces of amil recently about this.. I'm guess they are third party companies wwanting your business..

I still get them for the coupe (+ the sedan), and usually by phone. Thankfully, getting people to cry or yell in a call center is a past time of mine.

Thank the State you reside in........... They sell your new car info to anyone who will pay them

When I bought my car, there was a small form hidden in the rest of the paperwork that I had to fill in and mail back to ask my dealership to not sell my information. I don't know if the DMV sells my information, but I haven't received any of those warranty mailings yet. I did, however, start receiving mail from the dealership asking me to trade in my car.

It could be the local tax records, or county loan records (if you took out a car loan the lien has to be filed with the local or state authorities).
