  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Since the 3g is going to be dead soon and the only thing I really used the Connected Services for was the remote start, I went ahead this week and had a physical remote start installed in my car. The company that makes the product is "FlashLogic" and it works just fine.

Good to know! The only other thing that I'll miss will be being able to upload destinations to the NAV from my phone...

same here! Think I will look into a dedicated remote starter in the near future as I plan on keeping our 2016 for the the time being,

Know what you mean... The supply chain / inflation thing has seriously borked my intended upgrade intentions - I was counting on "traditional" Genesis / KIA depreciation to pickup possibly a newer G80 or maybe a 2nd year G70 / Stinger GT2 by now. Guess I'll just have to finish driving the wheels off my 2015 5.0 Ultimate & get some upgrades - KPLAY (CarPlay) might be next on my list.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Just had a CompuStar 1900S installed this morning. Took about 3 hours. They have various models and this has a two way giving me a flash when the car starts. Range is 3000 feet. What I like is the instant start, unlike the Connected Services that took too long. I'd often get to the car before it started. Oh, the lights don't flash while running too, a nice feature

The dealer I used is Mobile Dynamics in Bradenton FL. Right now they have a promotion for Toys For Tots. Donate a toy and get a $50 discount.

With tax and discount, it was $484.

Here is another remote start DIY for $329

Mine is pretty much instantaneous too... Parking lights come on when it's running though. $549
Just to clarify, my parking lights do come on, but not flashing like the original. Much less annoying.

I'm contemplating between KPlay & Remote Start, they both cost the same and KPlay DIY is a little more difficult, but KPlay might be my next project just for Android Auto Waze, I am not finding a good justification for remote start, when I had bluelink, I might have used it 4 times in 2 years, send to car was the only bluelink feature I used.

Yeah, saw that - cant really crawl all under the dash of my car anymore like I used to!
The video is 10 minutes long, how hard can it be? Oh yeah, it took my guy 3 hours and he has done it before.
I still change the cabin filter myself.
