  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just bought my G70 SP today... but was front bumper resprayed???

I have a 2020 so I don't think I can help with photos but if you want can send....

I returned the car today, so I'm G-less now :(. And probably for good, since my dealer has no allocation now, meaning he's at least 2 months away from receiving one. I can't wait that long. In fact, I want another vehicle like now, since my wife decided to visit her mother more starting today. Happy to be alone, but need a car to go places. Ha ha. Anyway, I was going to buy a 2.0T Sport Prestige they had there Friday (just received, along with mine), but it was sold, so no single Genesis left there. Dealer didn't fight me to cancel the sale (I've bought 7 vehicles there), so that was nice. GM gave me my check back, so zero drama, or the need to put a stop-payment on it (he told me to do that initially). Everybody around here is selling with a markup, and I'm not going to go there. I had enough of a shock having to pay MSRP (ha ha), and that's where I draw the line. And since dealer was nice, want to buy from them if at all possible. Plus it's MSRP. So might buy the wife a red Kona N that is arriving in a week or so, because there are no Limiteds or N-Lines arriving anytime soon. And the N I could easily sell it for what I'll have on it, since with taxes and everything will be like 2 grand over, and I could probably sell it for 3 over if she doesn't like it. It's even quicker than the 3.3T SP, and with a DCT, so awesome throttle-blip downshifts. And that one has everything adjustable independently, so unlike the SP, you can make the exhaust quiet too. What is weird is the mileage: 20/27, when it's much smaller than my SF, which gives 22/28. Sad to have been part of the G family for only 3 days, but it is what it is. Thank you again for all the great help and advice given here. Greatly appreciated. Keep enjoying your Gs. Take care.
