  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just took a 2010 Genesis V8 for another Test Drive. This time I paid attention to the 'Stiff Ride' that others have been talking about here. Yes the car does have a stiffer ride, but not any stiffer than my 2007 Lexus GS350. It does ride stiffer than my 1999 Lexus GS300 did though. I would prefer the ride of the 99 Lexus GS300.

That said; This is not a show stopper for me. And I will be buying the 2011 Genesis V8 as soon as they are offered this fall. I am hoping that they add some features to the Passenger seat and any improvements in the ride would be a plus!

I don't mind the ride being firm. It is the dampening I have a problem with.

I'm convinced it's BOTH damping AND tires - at least with the 18" Dunlaps.
The 5000m's are mizerable on the 3.8. My Jeep rides better!
I'm told to switch to Grand Tourings. Any suggestions?
