I have looked all over and I have not seen how to install front wings. Mine came with two big post. Do I saw those off?

make sure you do plenty of measuring to ensure height and centering of the wings or they wont look right. I used a grease pencil to mark the location, placed the wing with a bit of tape, then moved back a few steps to view it from different angles to make sure it looked right.
 
This is where a tool like Dremel comes in handy.
I used it to saw off the two little studs and all it took was ~ 10 minutes.
