Just How Quiet is the New Genesis?

Does anyone know how quiet the new v6 and v8 Genesis are?

I'd like to compare them to the following cars:

2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R with sound levels:

I currently own a Verano and would like to upgrade to a v6 AWD Genesis in a couple of years when people start turning them in from their leases for a 25%-50% price reduction.

70 Mph Cruise: 70dBA

I tested mine at 100 KM/h and it was 74 dB. Most of it was road noise from the low profile high performance tires, I believe.

The quiet inside is unbelievable. REALLY, REALLY quiet. Truly a cocoon. And the engine is so quiet ... I CONSTANTLY forget to turn it off when I get out as it doesn't make enough noise or vibration to remind me it's ON!

+1. I also agree with simplyaddo in saying I believe most of the noise is the tires.

The 3.8 v6 I just got has the quiteset idle that I have ever experienced in a car. Also the lack of vibration for an ICE is truly remarkable...

If you guys want quieter tires check out the Pirelli CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON PLUS. They are rated #1 at the tire rack. I plan on buying some in minus two size (16") for my Verano.

2015 Genesis Sedan 5.0 Ultimate is quiet enough to have a casual conversation at 90mph.
