Just purchased my Genesis - first things to do/know??

Hey guys,

just purchased my first Genesis. It’s a 2016 with the signature package. I completely love the car… rolling with about 52k on it

One of my main reasons for buying a car is the interior.. I drive alot, comfort and accessibility is everything. So overall, upgrading from my 2014 Kia Optima SXL I wanted the next size up. This is what I found after looking for months through COVID prices Got a great deal on this 2-owner Genesis..

Anyway..

My questions are, what are some extras I should know about the operating system? I haven’t looked into Bluelink/apps/etc. How does it function? Any ticks?

What are your favorite exterior aftermarket add ons? I know for sure I’ll be doing tint and rain guards. Anyone have pictures of a front lips or rear diffusers? Just looking to see what everyone is rolling with. Also, rim and tire package sizes would be helpful. I don’t plan on lowering it or doing coilovers but I would like to fill the wheel well more with no rub so sizes will help..

Any input and pictures are greatly appreciated!

Get a nitrous kit, a race cam and underbody LED lights. Yo!
And delete the mufflers and put in a performance K&N air filter.

you’re a cuck go waste your time elsewhere. I can’t do any performance mods because of the warranty I have. Cosmetics only and im curious about the accessibility of the car.

I placed some sound dampening materials under my aftermarket Tuxmats to make the interior THAT MUCH more quiet (and also added sound dampening to the doors when I replaced my speakers). There are a number of accessories including door latch genesis wings, glowing cup holder bases, etc. that you can find on eBay and other online sellers.

I think they look REALLY sharp and are easy to clean.

Once my warranty is up, I'll install the triple supercharger... ;-)

I had to look up what pegging was, and I have to admit I am intrigued.
But am I a cuck if I let my wife peg me? Doesn't being a cuck involve a third party? If you ask me, it sounds like a good way to catch an STD.

My point in the original post is that these cars are not really that easy to modify. All that stuff you'd spend money on is the equivalent of bling. I'd save your money for the inevitable date when you need an expensive repair.
