  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2022 G70 3.3 AWD a couple of months ago. Still not sure I like the car better than the 2019 Golf R I traded in. Long story, short. Live in Reno, drove to Portland for the car. Coil failed two hours away from Portland drove back and spent the night for repairs. Told it was a bad spark plug. Drove back to Reno, failed again two days later. Several emails and calls with Genesis corporate. Genesis of Rocklin two hours away sent a loaner car and replace the coil. So, bad start maybe tainted my first impressions. Now it seems like the right front strut is going bad, will address this next month. I knew not having a local dealer could be an issue and now maybe regretting the purchase. Hoping for a better experience in the future.

Just wanted to say hi, Mike.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I hope things work out okay.

I hate to say it, but you bought somebody else's problem. But it seems that Genesis is at least fixing it. Albeit they did a crappy job. You did get a loaner though. Does VW give loaners?
