  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

my 2013 Genesis 2.0t premium will sometimes not recognize the key fob. None of the doors will unlock and when I push the start button absolutely nothing happens. Then Other times it does work. It’s completely random and I have replaced the start button key fob antenna key fob battery and car battery to no avail. Anyone know what’s up?

It May No Be Completely Random
Other alarms will mess with the fob
I had a similar problem. A friend at work drove a newer Harley Davidson with an alarm on it. When he parked next to me and set his alarm it messed with the key fob. When he drove away everything works as normal. He told me it does the same thing to his Chevy at his house
