  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello I am a new member :D

I have a 2015 silver genesis sedan that I got in november 2021 and my keyfob has died beacoup times. I think I've bought maybe 8 or 9 of the 2032 batteries in about 7 weeks. I've read though the other posts and some suggest that it's a false low battery warning and also on a "Standby" search mode when not using. I've kept the fob with the dead in for a few days and swapped batteries for a few days to see if it would calibrate it or something. Has anyone had similar fortune like this?

thanks.

Something not right. Mine has lasted years, not days.

Where do you keep the fob when the car is parked. If it is close, it may be communicating with the car and running the battery down.

It's over 100 feet from where I park.
