How many people have asked you "Is that a Genesis?" And made a reference to the Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan movie?

So far I've had this happen on numerous occasions, as "the Genesis device" was the device used to create lifeless planets, or lifeless space into planets suitable for habitation, and vegetation.

Well, if I had access to phasers in the grille, those people who tend to dawdle along in the left lane on our local interstates would have...issues.

Hadn't heard the Trek reference before... maybe Hyundai should become a sponsor at GenCon or get Shatner behind the wheel. We could get a cryogenic chamber instead of a mini-refrigerator option.

Speaking of nerds, seen the articles showing the Genesis Apple Mac mod going to be displayed at SEMA?

Mac minis, laptops in the rear, wireless Internet etc. all in the comfort of your own car. Why ever go in the house? (And I was worried about battery drain.....DUH)

While I haven't bought my Genesis yet sitting in the car (with alone time at the dealers) I somehow kept saying "Computer On" instead of Set Navigation.

I did try to set destination to Gamma Hydra 4 - computer wasn't aware of that destination.

30 gigs should be enough for most local star maps IMHO.

Try it with a Scotty accent... these speech recognition systems are finicky that way.
