  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I can see the Cadenza stealing a few sales from the Genesis.

Very, very nice looking car...except for the biga$$ KIA logo on the hood...that has to go!

Looks great! If I were in the market today I would consider it over the Genesis to be honest. It's FWD, but will have AWD optional (Haldex 4). Plus my Kia dealership is nice and new (and only 5 minutes from home), whereas my Hyundai dealership is 15 minutes away and seriously run down and in need of a remodel.

Where does this fit in the pricing spectrum?

WOW! I like the styling moreso than the EQUUS.
Is it based on the GENESIS? Sharp.

Where does this fit in the pricing spectrum?

Pricing should range from around $25k for a base FWD model to $34-35k for a fully-loaded AWD model. As others have said, this is basically a next-gen Azera/Grandeur in different clothing. The AWD system is the superb Haldex 4 (currently employed on the Cadillac SRX and Saab 9-3).

Speaking of Kia, the next-gen Optima is just around the corner as well and from what I can tell looks GREAT! I love how the windshield shape subtly echoes the grille.

Although maybe not in the exact category as Sonata, I would definitely take this over the Hyundai, as I think the new Sonata just looks like a CHEAP rip-off of the LAST generation Lexus ES. Not even the current one. WTF???

Looking at my old Genesis photos, the grill on this KIA was from the original GENESIS mock-up intro car.
Like Sandy, curious on the price point.
