  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thought this would be of benefit to fellow members considering a Genesis with Tech Package.

Last Monday I took delivery of a Genesis (Black/Black) with Tech package on a 24 month lease. Here are the details of the lease (Rounded for simplicity)

$2290 Due at Signing

$528 per month ($499 + $29 Tax)
$60 License
$1575 Cap Cost Reduction
$125 Tax on Cap Cost Reduction

There is a $500 contribution that Hyundai Motor Credit contributes.

Essentially this works out for the car at about $500 under invoice for the dealer after you factor in the $500 Hyundai Motor Credit money. Money Factor is .0008 (1.8 - 1.9%) annually. Residual is 66%.

Deal was done with a no hassle deal over the phone with a dealership just south of Cincinnati in Florence, KY. Name of dealership was Kerry Hyundai.

Car was delivered to my office down in Louisville. So all I had to do was sign a few papers and give them the $2290 check.

So while I'm sure you can get better deals with more negotiating or have more time (I needed a car and had waited as long as I could for the Genesis Tech to come out) I'm happy with this deal. What important I thought was that this dealer was willing to trade this car with a local dealer for my convenience.

Thanks to all for your help and input.

Congrats on the new car. It also sounds like they provided some good service in delivering the vehicle hassle free to your job. That is how car buying should be. Also, please post some pictures.
