  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I use my car as a daily driver, so I figured that sooner or later, the leather seats were going to get buggered up. I bought the Aries Seat Defender for the driver side seat & was surprised how well it works. It's a seat cover that's universal fit & goes over the head rest, but doesn't attach to anything else. The backing has a material that doesn't let the cover move around! Protects your seat from sweat when you leave the gym, spills, tears, & normal wear & tear on your seat! When you go out of town or on a date, it takes 5 seconds to remove the cover & you're on your way. (Just as easy to put them on too!) They aren't pretty or look like customs, but they do protect the leather. I liked them enough that I purchased one for the passenger seat & back seat! I got them at Autoanything.com if you want to check them out! They're also reasonably priced!

Yea, I have about 25K on our Genny - the driver's seat is starting to show signs of wear, you know, how that nice leather starts to smooth out and get creased...and wearing blue jeans, it's taken on slightly blue tint. As we have the interior warranty, I am about to raise this issue as it's impossible to get the blue jean dye tint off the leather....so how does the Aries seat thing work with the ventilated seat? I saw it on Amazon.com...

Works fine, just takes a few more moments to feel the heating/cooling.

Try leatherique pristine clean..pricey but works when others dont.

It got blue Jean dye and 10 year old dirt out of my 120k mile BMW seats. Buy it with the rejuvenate stuff. I've seen the rejuvenator completely bring back severely cracked seats.
