LED DRL's

Hey group, I have a 2015 genesis and I am trying to replace the amber drl/turn signals with LED bulbs. The problem is the left side lights up but the right side will not. I have tried 2 different brands of LED bulbs with the same problem. Anyone have any ideas?

There is another thread on the installation of LEDs on DRL's. I installed Vleds V3 Triton switchbacks on my 5.0 Ultimate. I had to order reverse polarity harness specifically for genesis. The resistors in the previous post will not work.

FYI...I have an extra full set of V3 tritons switchbacks (no reverse polarity harness, which you can order). I originally purchased two sets to install. One on friends car and one on my car. Unfortunately she is leasing and didn't want to install. If anyone interested I will sell on the cheap!! PM me.

Weird. I didnt have any polarity issues with my tritons. It was all plug and play.

EDIT:: VLEDS actually made reverse polarity adapter for our genesis??? I dont understand how some of us need this adapter and I didnt.

Did you get "switchbacks"? If you got regular tritons maybe they didn't need the reverse polarity harness. Headlight units on V6 vs V8's are different. Just a thought.

At least in the US, the HID headlight units are exactly the same for the V6 and the V8. The non-HID units on the base V6 were different in 2015.

Mine are switchbacks 6K white to amber.
