Finally had the opportunity to use the NAV system at night. Night mode on the screen was quite acceptable, but certainly different than the regular day mode. Had the split screen highway mode active and much to my surprise when the detail for an exit ramp comes up, the background in the picture is mountain peaks, with twinkling stars above them. Looks just like you are approaching the Front Range outside of Denver. Must be the Korean view of Florida.

Prior to buying my Genesis, I had a Garmin c550 with text-to-speech and all the bells and whistles.

When I drove my Genesis home, I noticed the NAV had "limited" text-to-speech capabilities and thought, "I'm not sure I like that." While I thought I would miss that feature, it turns out I don't.

The NAV system is really nice IMO.
