All Tech Packages have 17-speaker system, but back in 2009 the Tech Package was an option and not standard on the 4.6 V8, although it later was stanadard (I think starting in 2011, but not sure).

I thought the Prem pack was standard on the 4.6 and the Tech pack was optional. If I recall, the Prem pack comes with 14 speakers.

All of the packages are included in the 4.6 model (U.S.). 2009 was the only year there was an option for the 4.6 which was the Technology package. I believe sometime in 2010 model the Tech pack became standard.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant for 2009 4.6 V8 model. Later, the Tech Package was standard on the 4.6 V8. Hyundai underestimated demand for the Tech Package, and also underestimated demand for the 4.6 V8 (initially thought to be only 20% of Genesis sedans purchased).
