LIcense plate frame

Can anyone recommend a good, plain chrome license plate frame? Seems it should be simple to find but saw some other posts suggesting that the curvature of the trunk and need for some padding (to protect against scratches) mean a standard frame might not be the best choice. Thanks

I have had no problem with my WeatherTech black frame. You can always place a rubber strip around the back of the frame. Weatehrstripping available at Home Depot or Lowes is excellent for this purpose.

AFAIK the trunk curvature issue was when people were trying to mount a wing badge on the trunk that was actually meant for the hood. The area where the license plate mounts is flat, and should work with pretty much any standard license plate frame.

If you search for "genesis license plate" on eBay you should find lots of different options to choose from, most under $10.
