  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Maybe, depending on the cost. Gains from lighter weight pulleys are not that much usually(maybe up to 5 hp depending on the OEM pulley weight), so I will not spend about $500+ for only a 2-5 hp gain. However, I would spend up to $200 on a lighter pulley set if the gains are 5hp or more per dyno test conducted by the manufacturer and verified by real users.

Sounds like it'd void a warranty. Am I incorrect? (I hope so)

"Although many dealers would have you think otherwise, simply having an aftermarket part or modifying your vehicle cannot void your warranty. ... The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that a dealer must prove that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage."

How much?? There are not many performance upgrades you can do to unlock more power out of the 5.0 Tua engine. I'm sure there is more HP in that engine if you could unlock it. I heard that by using a throttle response software the car feels way more responsive without the lag they have built in.

Lightweight pulleys may slightly improve power but to be fair the entire belt system is pretty lightweight anyway. The only real improvement that could be made is at the harmonic dampener which is pretty chunky.
