No, the wheel caps on the OP's car are not the correct ones for the 18" wheels. The correct ones are scallop shaped, not round. Scottdk provided the correct link.

Apologies, you're right. I looked at the images from my phone before and couldn't see the details (or lack there of).

Not sure what you mean by "different model of steering wheel." As I posted above, Genesis owners had two choices for replacing the H on the steering wheel:

• Purchasing a new official KDM OEM airbag with the wings
• Purchasing an after-market wings emblem to cover up the H

The after-market wing is not from another model (it was designed for the Genesis by some company), and is not OEM in the USA or Korea (but it is several hundred dollars less expensive than replacing the OEM airbag with the KDM airbag).

I never said "a different model of steering wheel". I always read that it was a coupe badge (yes I know the coupe logo is slightly different).

Sorry for my misquote. I knew you said/meant different model of auto. But that is not the case either. It is just an after-market (not Hyundai OEM or KDM) badge that fits over the H on the steering wheel, so that one doesn't have to go to the expense of replacing the entire airbag to get wings.

Most of the other badges used to replace the H are official Hyundai parts for the Genesis on the Korean model (KDM) since there are no H's on the KDM Genesis. Some members have replaced the airbag with H to get the wings, and it does look nicer. Apparently (hopefully) the 2015's will have wings everywhere but on the trunk.

It's not wood, it is "wood-grain" plastic. Sort of like laminate flooring that looks like wood.

Correct, its the 3.8L with Tech, I have no pulled the trigger and am buying sight unseen so trying to cover all my bases.

I thought the 3.8L didn't have the DIS rig.

Got it.......... don't know where I got the V6 didn't have the DIS....... thought it came with the touch screen thingy.

Premium Package (starting in 2010) comes with touch-screen Nav, no DIS. Tech Package comes with voice/DIS Nav. That will change in 2015 as the Tech Package will have some touch-screen capabilities (and DIS).

I'm up to date now..... not that it matters to me since I have the V8, but, maybe I'll be on Jeopardy one day and this will be an answer for Final Jeopardy!!!
