Do all G80s include the door logo projection lights or is that just certain upper level trims?

I believe they all have it. You won't find it on the web site though. The latest upgrade really sucks on finding details of what is included. I think the designer is a moron, but that is just my opinion.

I can confirm the 2018 G80 3.3TT Sport has the door logo projection lights on both the driver and front passenger sides. My girlfriend calls it the bat(man) signal. When the key fob approaches the car it will project the Genesis logo on the ground in black and white. Really cool at night!

The light shines through a cut out screen below the bulb. You would have to remove it and replace it with a cutout of your choosing. If you have the right tools it would be easy.

I have a new grill with lights and it projects the Napoleon logo on the ground in front of it. Changes the color of the knows when a burner is on also.

On the Gv80 this lives under: Setup>Vehicle Settings>Convenience>Welcome Mirror>Light

It's probably similar on your G80.

Not sure if every model has them Door has to be locked.

Welcome light (if equipped)
Puddle lamp
When all the doors (and trunk) are
closed and locked, the puddle lamp
will come on for about 15 seconds if
any of the below is performed.
• When the door unlock button is
pressed on the smart key.
• When the button of the outside
door handle is pressed.
• When the vehicle is approached
with the smart key in possession.
(if equipped)
Also, if the side view mirror folding
switch is in the AUTO position, the
outside rearview mirror will unfold
automatically.

This is not only your opinion but mine too.

I updated the navigation software on my 2020 Genesis Ultimate Addition and literally ruined by Navigation. It has the worst resolution that I have ever seen in a navigation on ANY car. I am fuming.
