  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2009 Genesis Premium Plus V6 with 31K mikes on the car, not one issue. I have been getting around town about 20 MPG and highway driving about 29 MPH. Anyway had an extented trip of 644 miles this past weekend from NJ to Pittsburgh,PA and back, average about 75MPH and MPG register 33.2.
I could not be happier with this car, even with the Dunlops, which should carry me to 40K miles or so.

great mileage. Best my 4.6 has done is low 27's.

I am also pretty happy with the car.

Those are some great numbers. I get about 22-23 City and sadly, because I drive to fast on the Highway, I only get 25ish. I really need to slow it down from 80 into the 70-75 range to get better numbers.:D

What the car tells you on the screen vs. doing your own math- will be about about 2 mpg lower- but still over 30 mpg is awesome for a big lux cruiser. Tiny econoboxes get 35 mpg- I'll sacrafice the 5 miles a gallon and enjoy my ride!

I always get my best milage at 70-75mpg.

Doing the math, it is always within half a mpg. I no longer do the math, however, next long trip. I will do the math only on the TOTAL fuel used, and the TOTAL miles driven, not just each segment.
