Look how strong Genesis is..

Had a rear-end collision on highway last weekend.
I had a small damage compared to the other car that hit my car (it was Mercedes).
No one was hurt in my car and I am very impressed by Genesis.

They do seem to be tough,I was involved in a three car rear end collison in Nov. lucky for my 16' Genesis I was in the front of the line and received the least amount of damage. Still took a hell of a whack but the damage was I guess what I called minimal, 👍🏻

That's a shame. It looks like your car was well taken care of. Glad nobody in your car was hurt. Anybody in the other car injured? How is it only the right rear of your car is damaged, but the entire width of his front end is destroyed?

I suspect that there is a lot more damage to your Genesis than you think. Take a look at the gap around all four doors, it should the same.

Airbag in the other car was deployed and driver was okay. Not sure how the entire front of the other car was destroyed.

I agree there could be more damage. Will get the inspection report soon from the insurance company.

The entire unibody may be twisted on the Genesis with that kind of angle hit.

"the guy who hit my car square with the center of his front impact crumple zones took more visible damage than my car that he hit on the side of the rear quarter panel" does not equal "My car is tougher, safer, better etc..... JFC, guys.

That really sucks. Sorry to see you lose her. At least you're okay. It could have been worse. Will you be looking for another Genesis?
