  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I recently purchased a used 2012 Genesis 5.0 that is loaded with every option. I hoping that someone has an original window sticker for a 2012 5.0 that I could see what the 5.0 came with. A scan or reasonable quality photo attached to this thread would be ideal.

Done.

Thank you.

I just completed a 220 mile mountain trip and averaged 28 MPG with the 5.0. I have to admit that I was very easy on the gas pedal.

You are welcome. Took me too long.

Yes, great mountain mileage. Do all the tricks, and it is a 30mog+ highway car, level ground, not too high altitude.
Non gum show tires kept at 38-40 in front, 37-38 in back, use "Intravenous" type intake valve cleaner every 10k or less (keeps deposits off the intake valves since the PCV system causes it to suck enough crankcase fumes with oil to get them dirty enough to rob MPG and smoothness. And GDI has no fuel with additives washing the valves), top rate premium fuel, tank added fuel system and injector cleaner, light smooth foot (like you have, but going up to 78-80 will still net 30mpg), I use Eco mode which is rumored to change cam timing and other minor things up to about 80, AC off whenever possible with windows closed, 5-20 top synthetic, clean air filters (have not noticed better or worse MPG with air box flapper removed to magnets tapes off. Better throttle response).. Oh, and get a top alignment. Make a good tech align not just within specs, but dead on perfect. And no "average" toe between each side. Make them the same and center to the best factory spec. Car handles better, and eliminates any minute scrub that affects mileage.

I have seen measured 35.4 mpg on 250-300 (or more) run with mild hyper mile techniques, following at safe distance, autos or trucks going 75 or so with medium tail wind. Rare setting though. And has to be level ground under 1000 feet ASL.

Anyway, have fun with your car.
