  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Everyone,

I hope it's ok to request something so simple. I just can't find much online.

I'm strongly interested in seeing the Ivory leather with contrast piping in:

Empire State Gray
Montecito Blue
Caspian Black

A chance to show off your beauties and convince this fella of the potential beauty-to-come haha.

I almost posted a pic of my pup sitting in the passenger seat (yes, Ivory Leather), but it really doesn't show much. I WILL say that you will get die transfer if you wear jeans! I'm constantly having to clean the driver's seat leather.

Not sure what you are typing, but a simple google search with "2015 Genesis ivory" brings a whole bunch of pics for you to examine.

I've obviously Googled it, but they're mostly just this generic product photo: http://img2.sm360.ca/ir/w560h400/im...ai_genesis_cuir-nappa-ivoire_tableau-bord.jpg

Or a very slight variation of it. I was looking to see real-life, overall vehicle shots with how it contrasts the paint color, etc. There's nothing like seeing the colour combination you want on a vehicle in real life, but no dealers around here have a single Genesis with Ivory interior.

Thanks! I have heard this, for sure.. Interesting that the ivory leather is available with the Parisian Gray paint, in the US. That paint color is only offered with black leather in Canada. Your car sounds gorgeous, especially with the extras you've done!

That is with the interior lights on in a dim garage

The ivory does look great in person, got to test drive one of the rare ibiza blue sedans last weekend but couldn't come together on numbers, still, that color is beautiful!

Please excuse the quality of the picture (dirty car, bright sunlight), but it's all I have that shows both the interior and exterior together. I was just playing around testing different options on my camera. The car is Empire State Gray.

As for dye transfer, it's pretty easy to get out. Just spray with a good leather cleaner, agitate gently (don't scrub!) with a soft brush, then wipe dry. There are videos in another thread about ways to safely clean leather. I haven't had any trouble keeping my Ivory leather clean.

Lastly, try to see the exterior color you want in different light before you buy (sunlight, clouds, night, etc). Both Empire State Gray and Montecito Blue change significantly depending on the lighting.

Gorgeous, thank you!

I'm definitely feeling like I'm between Empire State Gray and Montecito Blue.

I'll try and get you a few pictures of my Ibiza Blue with the Ivory leather tomorrow. I had a couple of busy days, haven't had a chance yet to take pictures during the daytime. The few people that have seen my new car so far have been very complimentary on the Ibiza Blue and the interior so far.

Go with the Montecito Blue. It is the fastest color :D and there isn't that many of them around. :D

Here are the pictures I promised.

Ibiza Blue / Ivory

I looked very hard to find this color combo, Caspian Black with Ivory or Tan interior. I also liked the Saddle interior, but that was never produced in the US, that I know of. Good to see it was available in the US. Smart looking car. Thanks for posting.
