  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

As the title states somehow the passenger side seat adjustment switch to move the seat forward and back came off and got lost. I found replacement switch knobs for the prior genn but for the 2015 on all I can find is the full control panel for $$$$. Called my dealer and they can't find anything other than ordering the entire assembly. I can't believe that you can't replace just the plastic knob. Has anyone else had this issue and if so were you able to locate the knob without replacing the assembly as well? Or does anyone own 2014 and if so are the switches the same shape as the 2015 and current?

I don't have an answer but I know what I'd do. For 2.47 I'd buy it and figure out what I have to drill, cut, or glue to make it work.
Agree is makes no sense to replace the entire panel.

The knob for 2015 Genesis is not sold separately. 2014 Genesis has two switches for sliding and reclining respectively but these switches are merged into one switch assembly since 2015. You can buy used one on ebay for under $90. Still pricey but no other option available.

I am following this thread as well. I recently purchased a 2016 Genesis and somehow lost the forward slide button switch. If I am hearing correctly, you have to purchase a whole assembly? You cannot just buy a replacement button switch?
